Peach Beer Cocktail

Peach and beer cocktail in glasses and a pitcher

This easygoing peach beer cocktail tastes like summer afternoons on the porch - bright, bubbly, and just sweet enough. Fresh peaches and a splash of vodka turn a few cold beers into something special, the kind of drink you share with neighbors when the day’s work is done and the sun’s starting to dip low.

Makes: 6 ½ cups
Ready in: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 large peach, chopped (approx. 1 ¼ cups)
  • One 3 inch strip of lemon peel, washed
  • Three 12 ounces fruited beers, chilled
  • ½ cup vodka, chilled
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 peach, thinly sliced

Instructions:

  1. Combine sugar, water, chopped peach, and lemon peel in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, smashing with a potato masher to crush peaches and dissolve sugar. Let cool to room temperature, then strain, pressing on solids. Discard solids. Cover and chill until ready to use.
  2. Add peach syrup, vodka, beers, and lemon juice to the syrup in a pitcher. Serve over ice with sliced peaches in the glasses.

Tip: Chill your pitcher and glasses in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before serving. This keeps the beer fizzier, the vodka punchier, and the peach flavor brighter!
